We are seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer to join a corporate Cloud Infrastructure Mission Team supporting cloud migration and application enablement. This role bridges GCP infrastructure and application development teams, with a strong focus on GCP and Java application experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with application teams on GCP adoption, migration, and deployment.
* Set up and configure GCP environments, services, and cloud assets.
* Provide guidance on GCP services, best practices, and cloud-native solutions.
* Support GKE, Cloud Functions, and other GCP services.
* Troubleshoot cloud/application deployment and configuration issues.
* Collaborate with cloud infrastructure and application teams.
Required Skills
* Strong hands-on GCP experience and knowledge of GCP services/terminology.
* Experience with GKE/Kubernetes, Cloud Functions, and GCP environments.
* Java application development or strong application development exposure.
* Experience deploying/supporting applications in cloud environments.
* Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
