Job Details
We are seeking a skilledMainframe Developerwith strong experience inMainframe technologies, Java, DB2, and VSAMto join our technology team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Mainframe applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and support applications involvingJava and Mainframe integration.
• Work extensively withDB2databases, including SQL development, data manipulation, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintainVSAMfiles and processes.
• Analyze requirements, perform impact analysis, and provide technical solutions.
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and application modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technical teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding and development standards.
