• The team is looking for a talented JCL COBOL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in COBOL programming and JCL (Job Control Language) to support and enhance our mainframe applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs and JCL scripts.
• Analyze and understand existing mainframe applications and workflows.
• Modify and enhance COBOL programs to meet business requirements.
• Create and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in COBOL programs and JCL scripts.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Provide support for production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a COBOL Developer.
• Strong knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language).
• Experience with mainframe environments (e.g., IBM z/OS).
• Familiarity with SSRS
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Must Haves:

• Hands on COBOL Dev experience
• Hands on JCL experience.
• Hands on SSRS experience.
