Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Network Engineer with deep expertise in AWS cloud networking to join our team as a Senior Technical Lead. This role requires a strong background in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based network infrastructures, with a focus on high availability, security, and scalability in AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Network Design: Architect, implement, and manage advanced cloud network infrastructures within AWS, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, NAT gateways, and NACLs.

• High Availability & Redundancy: Develop and implement resilient load balancing, failover, and redundancy strategies to ensure enterprise-grade uptime and performance (mandatory).

• Network Performance & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor and analyze AWS network performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks and reliability issues.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with DevOps, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams to build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud networking solutions (mandatory).

• Security & Compliance: Implement network security controls aligned with best practices and compliance frameworks, including segmentation, encryption, and audit logging.

• Documentation & Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, topologies, change management, and standard operating procedures (mandatory).

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders to align business requirements with technical design, resolve conflicts, and drive projects forward (mandatory).

• Network Modeling: Leverage advanced network modeling techniques to design, test, and optimize scalable architectures for new and existing AWS environments.

• Technical Leadership: Serve as a key technical resource for cloud networking initiatives, mentoring team members and guiding architectural decisions related to AWS networking.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 7 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong emphasis on AWS networking environments.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS networking components and services, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPNs, and PrivateLink.

• Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPsec, BGP, etc.).

• Proven experience designing and implementing load balancing and fault-tolerant architectures in AWS.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills (mandatory).

• Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive resolution of conflicting requirements (mandatory).

• Expertise in network security best practices within cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (ANS-C01).

• Experience with other public cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Proficiency with scripting or automation languages such as Python or PowerShell.
