We’re looking for an experienced Senior Tableau Developer who excels in building impactful dashboards and driving data insights through advanced Tableau capabilities and strong SQL development skills. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data storytelling and technical execution, working with stakeholders to turn raw data into actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop advanced Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and self-service BI tools that support decision-making across business units.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning across large and complex datasets.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights.

Utilize advanced Tableau features such as Level of Detail (LOD) expressions, dynamic parameters, sets, and dashboard actions.

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of data presented in reports and dashboards.

Conduct performance tuning for both Tableau workbooks and SQL queries to enhance efficiency.

Manage data connections, extract schedules, and publish dashboards to Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.

Maintain documentation of data sources, dashboard definitions, and data logic.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

5+ years of professional experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.

Advanced proficiency in SQL—experience with complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and query performance tuning.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into intuitive, insightful dashboards.

Experience working with large datasets from relational databases and data warehouses (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle).

Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization principles, and UI/UX best practices.

Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
