Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Xamarin Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using Xamarin. The ideal candidate will have experience with cross-platform mobile development and a strong understanding of mobile user interface (UI) principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Xamarin and C#.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, user-friendly mobile applications.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in mobile development.
• Ensure applications are compatible with various devices and screen sizes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
• Implement and maintain best practices for mobile app security and data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience developing mobile applications using Xamarin, C#, and .NET technologies.
• Solid understanding of mobile development principles, including UI/UX best practices, memory management, and app lifecycle.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries, APIs, and SDKs in mobile applications.
• Knowledge of mobile app testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful web services, JSON, and data synchronization.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Xamarin.Forms for building cross-platform UIs.
• Familiarity with Android and iOS development environments (Android Studio, Xcode).
• Experience with cloud-based services (Azure, AWS, Firebase) and push notifications.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
